Hey guys. Guess what? I'm back. It's been a busy two years and I apologize for just disappearing on you. I was going through a few things and life got incredibly busy. Unfortunately, it was the blog that suffered. But fear not, I'm back in action.

I am going to continue to post and conduct book reviews, but this time around I'm going to post on a variety of topics. Truth be told, I got a little book-burned-out last go around and I really want to be able to share more of myself and my interests with you guys. With this revamping, comes a brand new blog name. I'm leaving behind "That Bookish Girl" and am moving forward with a fresh start at "Midwest Darling".

So whats happened since you last saw me? A lot. I've obtained two associate degrees (one general and one in graphic design), I got a grown up job (I am a graphic designer for a real estate company), moved twice and had a few adventures. I also opened an etsy shop earlier this year, you can check it out here. I'll probably post some design tidbits from time to time.
