No, but my ipod touch can be used as one.
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
That all depends on the book. But, most of time I like to read one. That way I can stay focused and actually finish it.

Yes, I read a lot more and definitely check out more books from the library.

Either the Hollow by Jessica Verday or Generation Dead by Daniel Waters

I don't know that is so hard to answer. Either Crescendo or Graceling, I guess.

I wouldn't really say I have a comfort zone, I will pick anything up. I do stick to my main genres (urban fantasy/young adult/paranormal romance), but if a book catches my eye, I will read it.

Oh, yes. I read in cars all the time.

In my reading chair. Its a big old leather chair in the family room that swallows you when you sit in it.

I will lend a book to my friend, but I will hound them until I get it back. I don't forget :D
16. Do you ever dog-ear books?
Nope. I use anything and everything for bookmarks, scraps of paper, receipts, wrappers, paperclips - really anything flat I can get my hands on.

No!
18. Not even with text books?
Actually, no. Everyone else does, but I cannot make myself write in them. I cannot get out of high school mode when it was forbidden.

the only one I can understand, English :D
20. What makes you love a book?
Simple: If I can connect with it.
21. What will inspire you to recommend a book?
You know a book is good when you read for hours and forget to eat, drink or go to the bathroom.

General Fiction. Some of my favorite books (The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, The Catcher in the Rye, I Capture the Castle, The Virgin Suicides, to name a few..) are general fiction. But, I have a difficult time weeding through the books I won't like to get to ones I do.
Favorite biography?
I don't really do biographies. I read a Diana Ross one once for a project in 4th grade, so I will go with that.

Can't say that I have.

I don't really use cookbooks. But, I have absolutely obsessed with the food network. My favorite chefs on the network are... Rachael Ray, Paula Deene, Bobby Flay and Duff Goldman.

I really have no clue.

Umm.. Diet Mountain Dew?

I was really disappointment that I did not like 13 to Life.

I don't like critics. I listen to other book bloggers, but critics and I are never on the same page.

I don't like to do it, but I feel like if I didn't enjoy the book, I need to say that.
32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you chose?
French. It even looks beautiful.

I would have to say the first Jane Austen book I ever read, Pride and Prejudice. I read it when I was really young, and I stumbled through it. I've re-read it since, but I was so intimidated to pick it up again :D

usually around 10.

I've only done it a few times, usually I can renew them.

Oh, please. Easy - Voldemort.

I truck along a group of books, just in case. But, if you mean my fall back book - The Virgin Suicides.

No idea.

Generation Dead by Daniel Waters.
43. What distracts you easily when you’re reading?
Sometimes, other peoples conversations. So when I am around people I listen to music while I read.

I Capture the Castle, The Virgin Suicides and the Princess Bride.
45. Most disappointing film adaptation?
The first Twilight. I was devastated.
46. The most money I’ve ever spent in the bookstore at one time?
Probably, $60. I am a student and that is a lot of money to be tossing around at once.

Usually, I preview them before I buy them.
48. What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through?
If I don't like it.

I try to keep them together by series/genre, but really its however they will fit on my bookshelf.

I like to keep them. I am a book hoarder.

No, not really.

Most books make me angry at times, I often talk to them and tell them so.

55. Favorite guilt-free, pleasure reading?
Urban Fantasy. I don't know if I call it guilt-free, but it is definitely pleasure reading. I am a shy person, and sometimes the covers embarrass me. I wish more of the books were hardcovers so I could remove them when I go out in public :D

:P I was going to say "Twilight" for the film adaptation that I didn't like. They've steadily gotten better, mind you... I loved "Eclipse"!
Interesting that you were not a fan of Graceling, either.
I tried it earlier this year and found I couldn't get far into it. But I heard so many positive reviews about it. :)
My husband thinks I am not human because I don't like Mountain Dew.I reluctanly answered the questions as well. My answers are short and to the point.
