Description from Goodreads:
Ari can’t help feeling lost and alone. With teal eyes and freakish silver hair that can’t be changed or destroyed, Ari has always stood out. And after growing up in foster care, she longs for some understanding of where she came from and who she is.
Her search for answers uncovers just one message from her long dead mother: Run. Ari can sense that someone, or something, is getting closer than they should. But it’s impossible to protect herself when she doesn’t know what she’s running from or why she is being pursued.
She knows only one thing: she must return to her birthplace of New 2, the lush rebuilt city of New Orleans. Upon arriving, she discovers that New 2 is very...different. Here, Ari is seemingly normal. But every creature she encounters, no matter how deadly or horrifying, is afraid of her.
Ari won’t stop until she knows why. But some truths are too haunting, too terrifying, to ever be revealed.

I haven't heard a whole lot about this one, but it sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I am thinking this may have something to do with Greek Gods - I am making a huge guess from the series title (Gods & Monsters). That is just the first association I make. So, please don't take my word for it :) Even if it's not about Greek Gods, it still sounds like an interesting premise. What do you guys think? Have you heard more about this book than I have? Do you know more about it!?

I’m looking forward to this one too! Have you read her Charlie Madigan series? It’s one of my favorites.
I'm with you on this one, it sounds fantastic, and I really want to know why everything is afraid of her. Fabulous choice this week!
Oh this one is released one day before my birthday, has to be a good one:)
Cool! How did you get The Locket ARC? I asked for a copy and they agreed on sending me one. I'm not sure if they really send one, because I'm living in Germany...
great pick! i haven't heard a lot about this one yet!
I'm looking forward to this too! I love that it's set in a new New Orleans. I've always wanted to visit the city. But at least I can escape to it by reading about it - even if it's a rebuilt city. Here's my WoW. The Locket looks cool. I'm going to check that out.
looks like a fab read!
I too am really looking forward to this one! Great pick!
Check out my WOW!
Hmmm....interesting premise. I've seen this floating around a little bit, but haven't been interested until now. Thanks for featuring it! I've (finally) added it to my TBR!
Thanks for visiting my WoW this week. ;)
Sarah let me just put it this way if Kelly Gay writing as Kelly Keaton has penned half as good a story as her Charlie Madigan books who cares what it is really about because it will be a marvelous read.. I just love the setting in New Orleans anyway but really if you want to know more the author has a we page that may clue you in Web Site
Thanks for stopping by my post earlier today too.
jackie>_<
Oh, I'm also waiting for this one. It sounds intriguing!
I have not heard about this book but it certainly intrigues me! I think you might be right on the Greek Gods aspect (which I would love). Great pick!
I'm not a huge fan of the cover, but this one does sound interesting! Great pick :)
That sounds good - different. I haven't heard about it.
That one sounds like a great read! Thank you for the wonderful pick and for stopping by my blog!
