So I didn't receive any books in the mail this week, but I did buy some from my local bookstore. I love my Schulers, they simply have everything! I have been trying to avoid buying books, or at least buying books that I haven't read yet, because I have a defiant addiction. So, I try my best to borrow the book from a friend or the library before purchasing it. However, unfortunately, although my library is extremely well stocked, it takes forever and a day to get new releases. I have been first in line for Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel since, like August 3rd, and the library is yet to receive it's copy. That is insane. Anyways, my point is, I did buy a newish release because the wait list for it at the library is still insanely long. So, I decided to excuse my purchase - especially since my other two books were used! So, without further ado, I bought:
1. City of Ghosts (Downside Ghosts #3) by Stacia Kane
2. Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts #1) by Stacia Kane
3. The Golden Compass (His Dark Materials #1) by Phillip Pullman
So, as you can probably guess, City of Ghosts was my new purchase (which I have already finished! - Review Soon!). I also picked up Unholy Ghosts for $2.50 and The Golden Compass for $3.50 - both of which look brand new!
