This Week's Question is..
"How do you spread the word about your blog?
(e.g. Social Networking sites, Book Blog Directories, comments on other blogs...)"
(e.g. Social Networking sites, Book Blog Directories, comments on other blogs...)"
Well, I don't use social networking sites for my blog (like twitter, myspace or facebook). I do have an account at random buzzers and goodreads, and I guess those are technically social networking sites, but I really just use them to find new books :) I am registered in the YA Book Blog directory, but that's it. I am really just active throughout the book blogging community. I comment on other blogs regularly and follow tons of different bloggers. I try to read every post from each blog I'm subscribed to and I do try and comment to let them know I've been by. I just feel like if you are a good subscriber to other bloggers, they will be a good subscriber to you. I am a big believer in karma :)
I also participate in Follow Friday, so those of you who popped by from that, thank you - and thank you parajunkee for hosting it!

Just hoppin' on by! <3
I love your idea on karma! I feel the same way, more or less. I tried the whole tweeting thing and fail miserably at it. So mostly I just visit people who comment on my reviews, or check out other bloggers and comment on their stuff. I absolutely love making friends, and when I see regulars, I get super happy! :D
My hop :3

Happy HOP!! I think what's helped me the most is taking part in the different weekly memes. My blog was like a ghost town but it seemed so overwhelming visiting other blogs because there are so many and I didn't know where to start. The weekly memes give me that structure and so I visit people that way, see what they're up to and leave comments :) So far it's been alot of fun.
Come HOP by my blog and visit

My Book Blogger Hop
You know, I don't try to read every post, because I'd feel bad trying to make up a comment on a book I don't really care to read! However, when there is the hop like this with a question that really excites me, I try to read and respond to every single link!

Glad to have found you via the Hop and FF. I'm enjoying your fun blog. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sarah,
I just graduated with a Bachelor's in American Studies and decided to get my master's in education. First I have to take some undergrad courses in language arts and social studies before I can apply to the graduate program. While I'm working on the graduate degree, I hope to also get certified in school media studies so I can be a school librarian. There are library science masters programs but they were all too far away from where I live and I felt getting a teaching license with media studies would be the best option for me. I have also worked at a few museums and a lot of museum education jobs require a teaching license.
Since you're already earning your teaching degree you would just continue on to graduate school for library science or look at a school media studies program. It all depends on where you want to end up working. If you need more info, check out the American Library Association website. They list all the master's programs that are available.
Wow, you totally have my old background until I recolored it! Great minds think alike.
Found you via the Hop.
