Tune In Tuesday: My Teen Years {Vol. 2}

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger at GReads This month Tune in Tuesday is all about the teen years. Now, my teen years weren't that long ago, but I still have a few good throw back jams for you guys.

The Year I chose to go within this week is 2006. The year I turned 16 and got my drivers license. I remember driving around blasting these songs in my car - which I still have. She is a white Sunfire and her name is Sophie. We are very close.

Regina Spektor - On the Radio

Favorite Line: This is how it works. You peer inside yourself, you take the things you like and try to love the things you took. And then you take that love you made and stick into some - someone else's heart, pumping someone else's blood. And walking arm in arm. you hope it don't get harmed but even if it does, you'd just do it all again

 Oh, Regina Spektor... how I love you. My love affair with this quirky songstress began in 2006, with the release of Begin to Hope. To this day, it is still one of my favorite albums.

Dixie Chicks - Not Ready to Make Nice

Favorite Line: I'm still mad as hell and I don't have time to go round and round and round

Yes. Just yes. Perfection - the message, the song.. everything.

Carrie Underwood - Before He Cheats

Favorite Line: Right now, she's probably saying, "I'm drunk" and he's a thinking that he's gonna get lucky

This is when I fell in love with Carrie Underwood... can you blame me?

The Fray - Look After You
Favorite Line: there now steady, love. So few come and don't go. Will you, won't you, be the one I'll always know?

Oh, the Fray. I saw them in concert in 2006. They were wonderful :)

Corrine Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On

Favorite Line: Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams

This is one of my favorite summer songs. It's just pop perfection.
