Genre: Urban Fantasy / Paranormal Romance
Publisher: ACE
Description: For fifteen years Maria Devane has been desperately, passionately in love with Dante Romano. But despite loving him with all of her heart and soul, Maria knows that Dante can never give all of himself back—at least not all the time. Every month, Dante shifts shape, becoming a wild animal, and leaving Maria alone. Since the beginning, she has kept his secret, knowing that their love is worth the danger. But when a string of brutal attacks occur in local parks during the times when Dante is in animal form, Maria is forced to consider whether the lies she’s been telling about her life have become lies she’s also telling herself…
This one sounds like it could have a really great storyline. Plus.. I have boots that look just like that. I'm sold.
Doesn't this sound awesome? I love that science fiction is making a huge splash in the young adult market. And look at that cover. It's absolutely stunning.Book: Revived by Cat Patrick
Release Date: May 8th, 2012
Genre: Urban Fantasy / Paranormal Romance
Publisher: Little Brown
Description: As a little girl, Daisy Appleby was killed in a school bus crash. Moments after the accident, she was brought back to life.
A secret government agency has developed a drug called Revive that can bring people back from the dead, and Daisy Appleby, a test subject, has been Revived five times in fifteen years. Daisy takes extraordinary risks, knowing that she can beat death, but each new death also means a new name, a new city, and a new life. When she meets Matt McKean, Daisy begins to question the moral implications of Revive, and as she discovers the agency’s true goals, she realizes she’s at the center of something much larger — and more sinister — than she ever imagined.

Never heard of these novels, but i agree with the whole notion of SciFi coming into it;s own in the YA genre. I see a lot of it. I suppose I wonder where the line is between SciFi,dystopian and paranmoral. Does there even need to be a line ?
Oooh, you have me thinking.

Sharon Shinn is one of my favorite authors. I will put her book on my wish list. The other books looks interesting as well.
Hey, isn't Cat Patrick the author Entangled? Quite a turn, doing SF, but it sounds crazysauce and full of amazing things. Geez, how do you let yourself die five times. I don't think I'd manage one without being terrified. Fabulous picks!
- Asher (from Paranormal Indulgence)
Both these books sound like interesting reads. Good picks! My WoW this week is THE SPACE BETWEEN.
