Waiting on Wednesday: Girl of Nightmares & Goddess Interrupted

Waiting on Wednesday is hosting by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Book: Girl of Nightmares (Anna #2) by Kendare Blake
Release Date: 2012
Genre: Young Adult / Urban Fantasy

Publisher: Tor Teen
Description: None Yet

Alright. I realize that there isn't a description yet.. or a release date. But I just saw the cover and I am freaking out already. I read Anna Dressed in Blood back in March and I have been waiting for the sequel ever since. It was easily my favorite book of 2011 (so far, atleast) and I just NEED to read the next one. And isn't that cover gorgeous? Oh, Tor Teen... you are unbelievable.

Book: Goddess Interrupted (Goddess Test #2) - Amie Carter
Release Date: March 27th, 2012
Genre: Young Adult / Fantasy

Publisher: Harlequin
Description: Kate Winters has won immortality.

But if she wants a life in the Underworld with Henry, she’ll have to fight for it.

Becoming immortal wasn’t supposed to be the easy part. Though Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld, she’s as isolated as ever. And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he’s becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate’s coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans.

As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person who is the greatest threat to her future.

Henry’s first wife, Persephone
I figured I've give you one that has some actual information as well :) I really enjoyed the Goddess Test and I've been looking forward to continuing Kate's story!

I haven't read either of the first books in the series! But I sooo want to. Both of the covers are really pretty! Great picks this week :)

Great choices! I've yet to read Anna Dressed In Blood or The Goddess Test but I've bumped both up on my TBR so hopefully I'll get to them soon. :)

Great choices! I haven't read Anna Drenched In Blood yet, but the sequel definitely has a gorgeous cover. As for The Goddess Test, I've meant to pick it up and give it a shot even though I've been warned to pardon massive changes to mythology that might make me tear my hair out. I'll need to do that; I like making up my own mind. Anyway, great choices. I had fun reading your WoW.

The mere fact it's a sequel to ADIB has me sold lol I haven't read it yet (I have it, but have too much due out before then), but I've truly heard nothing but goodness about it.

I've heard good things about the Goddess Test, but since my focus is on adult romance instead of YA I didn't snag it off of Netgalley.

Either way, great choices :)

New follower, hopping through :)
