Tune In Tuesday {2}

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger at GReads. It's a fun way to share your favorite music with other bloggers and hopefully introduce them to so truly kickin' tunes :)

This week I had a really difficult time choosing, so I am just going to lay a bunch of different tracks on you. Last week I chose a song by an all male band so this time it's all about the ladies. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

First up we have "Young Girl" by Dawn Landes from her album, Sweetheart Rodeo. I LOVE this song. I believe I got it from a Paste Sampler (an incredibly awesome music magazine!), but I don't really remember. I've had it for a while and I still am in love with it. I get very bouncy when I listen to it - I just can't sit still.



 Next we've got the ever fabulous Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. I really, really wanted to use Grace's song "That Phone". But alas, there is not a good quality youtube video to be found. So, I am going with "Paris (Oh La La)" The only reason I didn't want to use this one is because I figured you guys would have already heard it. But whatever, it's still a kick ass song.



Last but not least, we have Sara Jackson Holman with "Cellophane". I found Sara via emusic a while back and quickly downloaded her entire album. I LOVE this girl If you are a fan of artists like Adele, Duffy or Amy Winehouse, I'd check Sara out.



 Oh, what the heck. How about one more? Let's talk about She & Him for a minute.Yes, M. Ward is technically in the band (hence the him), but he never says anything, so I basically think of them as Zooey and her plus 1. Well, I take that back, he does have lines in their cover of "Lotta Love", but that's one song out of what... 20? Anyways, I love every one of there songs, but this one is just so adorable. And the video makes me smile. So here you go. Spread that sunshine!
