Book Blogger Hop

This week's Questions is...

“Share your favorite post from the last month and tell us why it’s close to your heart!”

I guess I would choose my Armchair BEA post on my favorite books of 2011 (so far). I chose this because I got to talk about all my favorites books and reviews, which is always a good time :)

I also participate in Follow Friday, so those of you who popped by from that, thank you - and thank you parajunkee for hosting it!

This Week's Follow Friday Question is..

What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.)

Yes, both of those events sounds incredibly terrifying. However, I am not sure that I am really doing much to prepare for them. I have never shot a gun in my life and I don't have a bunker full of canned food. Maybe I should take up extreme couponing, that way I'd atleast have a lifetimes supply of toothpaste or toothpicks, or something else equally as useless. Oh, and I could load up my nook with hundreds of books. Let's see how long it could really keep a charge. As far as Mel Gibson goes, I do not really think there is anything I can do to prepare for that one.

Hey, toothpicks can be useful...and they are silent weapons unlike guns so they won't attract more of the shambling dead when you use your ninja skills to take down zombies using your millions of stockpiled toothpicks and toothpaste.... :)

I agree. There is only so much you can do to prepare for Mel. I'm not sure I would even notice if he returned.

As the saying goes – the best defense is a good offense. I’ve got that covered! My preparations for the zombie apocalypse are not just intricate, they’re stylish. I’m not talking “last stand” stuff here. I mean to lure in the zombies and slaughter them wholesale while we sip champagne and watch.

How am I going to do that? Follow me back to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and read all about it.

Thank G-d it’s Follow Friday!

LOL, sure, toothpicks can be useful... I pricked myself with one accidentally once and it actually hurt, so maybe it's a good weapon :)

I'm a new follower :) You can find my post here.

Hi Sarah! New follower from FF. Lol. I totally agree that there is nothing we can do to prepare for the return of Mel Gibson other than hope it never happens!

I can't say I'm much prepared at all, but I panic so easily, I'm not sure any preparations would help, lol. Perhaps if someone took the time to bring me back to earth again... But then it would probably be their preparations or orders. ;)

Happy weekend! Old follower hopping by.
