Thank You Everyone who is stopping by for the Blog Hop and thank you to crazy-for-books for hosting the hop!
This week's Questions is...
"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"
Well, I ideally would want a great plot and wonderful characters, but I guess I would have to go with characters. If I cannot connect to the characters then a story is pretty pointless to me. I simply can't get into a book if I don't like the characters, because I don't care about them.
I also participate in Follow Friday, so those of you who popped by from that, thank you - and thank you parajunkee for hosting it!
This Week's Follow Friday Question is..
What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?
Well, I am currently in college and I am majoring in Elementary Education. I work as a nanny for my current 9-5, because I get flexible hours and get to hang out with an awesome little girl all day. So, I guess it kind of led to my current job; since I work with children :)

Nanny?! That's awesome! I always wanted a job like that, but sadly there isn't a demand for nanny's in my area. :/
I'm currently going to college for nursing. :D
Here's my blog hop. Have a great Friday! <3
I wanted to be a teacher at one point. In a high school one of my classes was we got to go to an elementary school and kind of teach a little lesson to our class when we go there. It was fun I had first graders and they were adorable. i still have some stuff from them when we did projects.
Hey new follower :D nice blog layou out love it lots I think the plot is kinda 50/50 to me
Hi! It sounds like you love your job! I think that is so important seeing as we spend most of our lifetime working! Anyway have a great weekend! I'm a new follower.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today for the book blogger hop. I agree with you: if it weren't for the characters, then the best plot ever wouldn't have the chance to shine in my opinion.
I just stop by from Parajunkee's Follow Friday.
Working with children is not easy. But you seem enjoy it. Cool.
I did not go to college, and I am currently retired. I worked for over 15 years in the secretarial division of Emery Air Freight in the 1960s and 1970s. I was a stay-at-home mom for the 1980s and 1990s, and now I am helping my daughter with her business, Tribute Books as the volunteer office manager.
Hi! Old follower here. I agree with you-characters are way more important. I have to care about the characters. If I don't care that they die or live or fall in love then what's the point of the plot?
Have a great weekend :)
That's awesome that your majoring in Elementary Education. I think it's important to start getting kids interesting in learning and reading at a young age!
This might be the best Book Blogger Hop question I've seen to date.
So what's the answer? Plot! Hop over to my blog and let me tell you how a good plot rescued bad characters from bad book oblivion.

Hey! new follower here. I just couldn't decide between plot/characters; they're both really important in my opinion. That's awesome you're majoring in Elementary Education; I'm still in high school so I can't say what I'll be majoring in yet. :)
Happy reading! -Caroline, Words & Whispers

Happy Holidays!!
Hi Sarah :)
I think it's just a bonus for me if I can find something to connect with the character. For me, plot is more important.
I'm with you. If I cannot connect to characters, there is no point reading the book.
