This week's Questions is...
"What is the thing you like most about reading book blogs? Is it the reviews, author guest posts, articles, giveaways, or something else entirely?"
Well, I love everything about it. I mean, I love finding new books, connecting with authors and other readers - it really is a lot of fun. None of my friends are really into reading, at least not like the blogging community is, so it's nice to find other people who share my obsession :)
I also participate in Follow Friday, so those of you who popped by from that, thank you - and thank you parajunkee for hosting it! Well, I love everything about it. This Week's Follow Friday Question is..
Do you have an under-noticed author that you think we should all know about?
Well, a few do come to mind. First I would say that Max Turner, author of the Night Runner series is a little too "under the radar" for my liking. I would also like to put in a good word for Kendare Blake (author of the Sleepwalk Society) and Cate Tiernan for the Sweep series :) I am sure there are plenty more, but those are the first few that popped into my mind!

Cate Tiernan has almost the same name as one of the characters in James Patterson's book, Kiss the Girls, Kate McTiernan :D

I just love reading about books I never heard of before and finding great reviews on books that I've been wanting to read. Plus making new friends is always a plus :)

I love to enter the giveaways. It's always exciting to be exposed to new books with the possibility of getting to read them.
I've heard of Cate Tiernan, but not the other authors. It's nice hearing about new authors, but I don't like that there's so many I haven't even heard of! That opens up a whole lot of new books I need to look into.
Cate Tiernan - what a great choice. I'm surprised her novels haven't received as much attention as I thought.
I know what you mean about not many friends being into reading. That's why the book blogger community is so great. Getting to hear about great reads, and getting to share one's own thoughts on their book choices. It's win win! ^_^
